Anugerah Naib Canselor - Syafeeqah Fuad Aziz

Assalamualaikum and hello,

My name is Syafeeqah Fuaad Aziz, I was a student in Diploma in Information Management once back in December 2006 and now I graduated with Bachelor of Science in Information Management (Honors) Records Management.
To excel in my studies, I have always practice these things:

1.    Intention
Know your intention. What is the purpose of your study? It is easy for me; for the future and for my parents. Be clear.

2.    Punctuality
Never ever come late to attend your class. I had always come to the class at least 10 minutes early. Being on time is not only helps you, but it shows the respect around you. If you are late, you are at your loss. You might miss part of the class, disrupt the class and most importantly is you show DISRESPECT FOR THE TEACHER by not caring enough on time.

3.    Be good and nice
Always be good to your teachers and fellow classmates, having a good relationship with them really help. I had always made time to consult my lecturers. Text or call your lecturers to make appointment with them. A good bonding not only helps in your studies, but also in your communication skills. Discuss among friends about what you have learned and don’t be “Kedekut Ilmu” (cliché? I know!). Always share.

4.    Push yourself
Being lazy is a syndrome that every student has. I had it too. Well the best way to beat the laziness syndrome is back to your intention. Push your self, remind yourself. Complete your assignments with the best attitude (comprehensive, compact and tidy). NEVER submit your assignment in mess. Your marks are given based on your attitude, so yeah so beat it.

Those are the top four things to do on my list in every semester when I was a student. I would like to thank to all my lecturers for always believe in me and make this happen, and not forgetting my friends and beloved family. I can’t thank you enough. And you, yes you, all the best in your studies. I hope this little note will able to help in your studies. Toodles!

Yours sincerely,
Syafeeqah binti Fuaad Aziz
